Dr. Evangelos Liatsikos is a Professor of Urology and Director of the Urology Clinic at the University General Hospital of Patras, as well as Director of the hospital’s Medical Services.

He is the Scientific Director of the Urology Clinic at Lefkos Stavros and President of the organization Mentor Lefkos Stavros, which aims to promote medical education, raise public awareness, and organize events of scientific, informative, and educational content.

He is internationally recognized as a leading expert in endourology, laparoscopy, and robotic surgery, having performed numerous live laparoscopic, robotic, and endoscopic surgeries at international urological conferences. Thanks to Professor Liatsikos’ clinical and research work, the Department of Endourology at the University General Hospital of Patras applies the most advanced endoscopic techniques in the treatment of benign and malignant urological conditions and serves as an international training center in Endourology, regularly hosting international clinical seminars and offering a fellowship program in Endourology recognized by the World Endourological Society.

He is a Visiting Professor in the Department of Urology at the University of Leipzig and the University of Vienna. From March 2016 to March 2020, he served as President of the European Section of Uro-Technology (ESUT). Since March 2020, he has been President of the European Diseases.

Awarded for his research activity, he is the author of 418 international scientific publications, as well as several Greek and foreign-language urology books, and is a regular invited speaker at leading urological conferences. Additionally, he serves on the editorial boards of numerous internationally recognized scientific journals.

School of Urology (ESU), and he also served as President of the Hellenic Urological Association (HUA) from 2022 to 2024.

Since 2022, he has been a member of the distinguished American Association of Genitourinary Surgeons (AAGUS), and he is a member of the Scientific Working Group of the National Registry of Patients with Neoplastic diseases.

In addition, he participates in the editorial board of numerous internationally recognized scientific journals.
